Iran Is Attacking the UAE — What Indian Investors and NRIs Need to Know Right Now

This is not a drill. This is not speculative information. the United Arab Emirates (uae) is being attacked with active missile and drone attacks from iran — and if you have assets, wealth, or loved ones in the uae, you should be aware of the developments in the region.

What Is Happening

Following coordinated u.s.-Israeli strikes against iran, the Islamic Republic of Iran initiated a wave of multi-day missile and drone airstrikes against the United Arab Emirates. On 28 feb 2026, iran launched a large-scale offensive against the uae which included missile strikes. Wikipedia

What Has Been Hit

An attack on a fuel storage tank at Dubai International Airport caused a fire and suspended flight operations temporarily. Firefighters responded to a fire at ruwais industrial complex in abu dhabi — where the country’s biggest oil refinery is located. Adnoc shut down the plant because of the fire — and would have produced 922,000 barrels of crude oil per day otherwise. The MOD’s official message to the public says:

  • Uae air defenses are currently engaging all incoming threats
  • All sounds heard across country are interceptions and not strikes landing
  • Do not approach or touch any Debris or fragments that have fallen from the sky
  • If you see anything call 999 immediately
  • Follow all safety and security instructions provided by authorities
  • Stay calm and stay indoors away from windows and open areas

There have been reports of Debris damage to several locations, including Palm Jumeirah and near burj al arab.
